– Part of the story is an academy story; most of the cast are either teenage girls taking classes or cult personnel teaching classes.
– Part of it as a romance; the MC keeps interacting with the third prince of cult. Note that he’s just a male lead for the first 90 chapters. Any actual romance would have to come later.
– Part of it silly comedy / brain-rot; the author has no hesitation doing random dumb shit or setting up contrived messes that will either make you chuckle or give you a headache from the sheer idiocy.

Personally, I thought the story was a little fun for the first 60 chapters. However, all of chapters 60-90 are a single arc that felt like brain-rot to the extent that I regret trying to read this. Might be worth reading a bit and then dropping it the moment it feels too dumb. Like, this clearly isn’t the type of story to get better as it progresses.

This is a really good read, you have to get used to the clunky translation but the story is very fun and engaging, the twists and plots always take me by surprise without being impossible. The main character is very funny and reminds me how people in Got Dropped into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work see Kim Soleum, or how Bai Lui thinks in I became the god of a horror game, with way less horror and gore. The other characters feel very human and fits very well with the setting of the Demon Cult winning/ruling over the world, so everyone is a bit off in a very interesting way. The ML is funny and has great chemistry with the MC, over all very funny read, I highly recommend. Wish there was more !
