Read novel My Disciples Became Scoundrels \ 내 제자들이 망나니가 되었다
Fifteen years ago, a master died a heroic death to protect their disciples. But upon resurrecting in the body of a twenty-year-old, a horrific reality awaits. The home they once shared is ruined, and the five angelic disciples have turned into cruel, heartless scoundrels. Now, the master must pick up the rod of discipline. If the disciples have walked down the wrong path, it is up to the master to drag them back—even from the depths of hell.

Chapter 120 review:
First of all, none of his disciples are scoundrels. Instead, they were all taken in by and/or scammed by scoundrels. He’s not beating them into good manners, he’s saving them.
Second, as much as he regressed, his body is frustratingly slow to recover AND he has some unexplained divine promise where he can’t intentionally kill more than three things a day. Doesn’t matter if it’s war, killing a cockroach infestation, or hunting magical beasts. He has an extreme swordsmanship level, but his body strength, mana, and ability to kill are frustratingly limited.

So, I’m going to give this a 7/10. I like the diversity in characters. I like the sibling banter. I also like that there’s no romance (so many lesser authors would make the MC marry one of the adopted children). However, the plot progression is pretty frustrating. The story arcs are fine, it’s just that the cast only has like half of the power and gathered information that I would want them to have. It kind of feels like the story peaked in chapter 20 and then plateaued for the next 100 chapters.

Correction:
When I said ‘regressed’, I meant his power level fell to nothing. Chronologically, he dies and then wakes up in his coffin 15 years later. Age and power wise, he dies as a 40 year old swordsman with rank-7 mana and then wakes up a 20 year old with no mana or muscles to speak of.
