Setting is an RPG world. Skills, attributes, and growth values are all heavily RNG based. Party play is required, but the game adds mental stats that can cause suicide, betrayal, and so on. The world is grim with low survival rates being standard. You can expect a lot of absurd difficulty levels, gorey deaths, and ‘close calls’ (it’s not like the main character can die, so a constant 10% chance of success doesn’t mean much).

MC is a beast tamer who wields a scythe. Tamed beast can rest is a summoning area, thus the title. He is one of the two most knowledgable people when it comes to the game, so he sets about trying to level up as quickly as possible when using creativity to boost the constant 10% survival rates into something manageable.

First 60 chapters have been pretty good. The author set the pace of the grim-dark fantasy pretty well and added cast members I can get behind. If you’re okay with dark fantasy, it’s worth giving the first 10 chapters a read.
